Avion Group, parent of wet-lease specialist Air Atlanta Icelandic, announced yesterday that it has acquired the entire issued share capital of French charter carrier Star Airlines. Purchase price was not disclosed, but the Icelandic transportation solutions group said it is financing the acquisition through equity and debt.
