Etihad Airways (EY) and Alitalia (AZ) will step up their 2009 codeshare agreement with direct Abu Dhabi (AUH)-Rome Fiumicino (FCO) flights from Dec. 1. Subject to government approvals, AZ will operate the four weekly flights with an Airbus A330. EY operates a daily service to Milan and will also codeshare on AZ-operated flights beyond FCO to Venice and Zurich.
