Cathay Pacific full-year profit rises 71.8%

Cathay Pacific Airways reported a profit attributable to shareholders of HK$7.02 billion ($901.9 million) in 2007, up 71.8% from the HK$4.08 billion earned in 2006. The result featured a full-year contribution from lower-cost subsidiary Dragonair. Separate results for each airline were not provided.
