AviancaTaca triples net income in 2011

Bogota-based AviancaTaca Holding, parent of Avianca, TACA, Aerogal and Tampa Cargo, reported 2011 net income of $109 million, more than tripling a net profit of $33 million in 2010.

Bogota-based AviancaTaca Holding, parent of Avianca, TACA, Aerogal and Tampa Cargo, reported 2011 net income of $109 million, more than tripling a net profit of $33 million in 2010. The company did not provide many details, but it said full-year operating revenue rose 24.6% compared to 2010 to $3.8 billion.
