Alitalia confirmed it has called a board meeting for tomorrow to determine the terms and conditions of its long-awaited capital increase. On Monday, the board approved a rights issue worth up to €1.2 billion ($1.42 billion) although it did not specify whether it finally had secured firm backing from its lenders.
