TSI—anAir France Industries, KLM Engineering & Maintenance subsidiary—Bonus Tech and Bonus Aerospace are forming an engine disassembly joint venture in Miami, Fla.

IFS of Sweden has been selected by Emirates to provide enterprise software to manage its new engine overhaul facility in Dubai in a deal worth more than $6 million. The Applications 8 software will support all business processes at the overhaul facility, which will service up to 300 engines a year when fully operational.

A J Walter Aviation (AJW) was selected by Tajikistani-based Somon Air for a second five-year power-by-the-hour support contract, covering two Boeing 737 classics. The first contract, signed in January 2012, covers the privately owned Dushanbe-based airline’s four 737NGs. AJW also has signed a full ATA chapter power-by-the-hour support contract with South Korean low-cost cargo Air Incheon. The agreement covers the airline’s in-service Boeing 737-400F freighter, and will be expanded this summer to include a second aircraft.

Aero Maintenance Group (AMG), a Miami-based subsidiary of Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance, has signed a multi-year component maintenance agreement with European regional carrier HOP! for its fleet of Bombardier CRJ200s, CRJ900s and CRJ1000s. The work will be performed by AMG’s Atlanta-based subsidiary Precision Electronics, which specializes in maintaining and repairing electronic, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic instruments and accessories for regional aircraft.
