Bombardier reported first-quarter net income of $115 million, down 22.3% from a net profit of $148 million in the prior-year period, on essentially flat revenue of $4.35 billion. The Canadian manufacturer booked 43 net orders for commercial aircraft in the three months ended March 31, a big improvement over just one net order booked in the prior-year quarter.
