Boeing has rolled out the first 737NG built at the new production rate of 38 aircraft per month. Copa Airlines will take delivery of the 737-800 in early April.

Over the past two years, 737 production has risen more than 20%, from 31.5 to 38 aircraft a month due to market demand, according to Boeing. In 2014, the rate is expected to increase to 42 aircraft a month.

Clearly, Boeing have an excellent B737-NG production plan in hand, for making a smooth and virtually "seamless" transition to B737-MAX;

Great ! Handsome prospects.

Despite the much publicised difficulties, elsewhere, it is good to hear about the "trains that do arrive on time".
