Boeing is outpacing rival Airbus in orders for 2014, logging 275 gross aircraft orders in contrast to Airbus’ 158 during the first three months of the year. The disparity is also evident in the counts for net orders—Boeing has 235 versus Airbus’ 103. Airbus delivered 141 aircraft during the first quarter, the majority of which (106) were A320 family aircraft.
