Air India is reportedly demanding compensation from Boeing for delivering 787s that do not meet promised fuel-efficiency targets because the aircraft are heavier than planned, according to a Bloomberg report. It quoted Air India chairman and MD Rohit Nandan as saying that design changes made after targets were set means some 787s are overweight.
