The Vietnamese Civil Aviation Administration (CAAV) has canceled the air operator’s certificate (AOC) granted in 2008 to independent Vietnamese carrier Air Mekong. The airline, which started operations in October 2010, used a fleet of leased Bombardier CRJ900s to service the then-growing domestic Vietnamese market out of Phu Quoc.
