Sharjah-based low-cost carrier (LCC) Air Arabia has recorded a net profit of AED85 million ($23 million), up 13% from a net profit of AED75 million a year ago. The profit was reached on revenue of AED886 million, up 7% compared to AED827 million over the same period in 2014. Passenger numbers grew 10%, to 1.8 million, in the first three months of the year.
