Indonesia’s Lion Air plans to base up to six Boeing 737-800s with its new Thai subsidiary, which will be based at Bangkok's Don Mueang Airport, according to a report in the Bangkok Post. Thai CAA director general Woradej Harnprasert confirmed to the newspaper that Lion Air is setting up the venture, although it has not yet applied for an air operator’s certificate.
