Oman Air, DHL create freight JV

I was really excited when DHL acquired Airborne Express in the US and was looking forward to a third major carrier behind UPS & Fedex to increase competition in the domestic market. Unfortunately, DHL dropped the domestic market leaving the two major carriers on a feeding frenzy. I hope someday the economics will allow them to reintroduce the service.
Oman Air is a solid partner and I hope this will help the company expand it's current reach worldwide. I'll be watching the next international air show to see if their expansion plans are aggressive enough.
