OLT Express Germany, which ceased operations Jan. 27, will lay off its last 180 employees at its technical base at Bremen.

OLT Express Germany ceased operations after owner Panta Holdings B.V would not agree to support a restructuring program. An ongoing surge to find potential investors has failed.

Its Saarbrücken technical department with 80 employees could continue operations.

OLT Express Germany had around 500 employees and 14 aircraft.

The carrier was purchased by Dutch financial investor Panta Holdings last summer after Polish-based Amber Gold sold its investment.
