Low-cost carrier Norwegian Air Shuttle more than doubled its second-quarter profit compared to the same period in 2012. It posted after-tax earnings of NOK196.8 million ($32.2 million), up from NOK90.5 million year-over-year. Revenue for the period was NOK4 billion, up 27% over the year-ago period.
