International Airlines Group (IAG), parent company of Iberia and British Airways, reported a sharp deterioration in its first-quarter results compared to the previous year, taking into account exceptional items. IAG reported a post-tax loss of €630 million ($819 million), more than four times the loss of €129 million for the year-ago period.
