Aerolíneas Argentinas Airbus A330-200
Aerolíneas Argentinas signed a purchase agreement Thursday for four Airbus A330-200s. The carrier ordered GE Aviation CF6-80E1 engines to power the aircraft.
Aerolíneas will use the aircraft on medium- and long-haul routes from its Buenos Aires hub to destinations throughout Latin America, Europe and the US. The airline operates eight A340-300s, four A340-200s and four A330s as well as a fleet of 26 Boeing 737s.
In October, the SkyTeam carrier signed an agreement to buy 20 Boeing 737-800s.
