Another Fokker F.32. I showed the interior of one back in March, Only Western Air Express purchased the F.32, and on top of that, pared down its order from five to two, mostly due to economic uncertainty from the Great Depression. At that time, Western flew out of Alhambra Airport, Calif. and later Grand Central Air Terminal in Glendale, Calif. flying to Oakland, Calif. and other West Coast cities. In this photo, it is an inaugural flight from Glendale in 1930. You can hardly see the Fokker for the oxen, the cart, the car and the waving women.
