The ATW airline industry achievement awards program was created in 1974 to recognize excellence. The Air Transport World Annual Airline Industry Achievement Awards are seen across the industry as the most coveted honor and airline or an individual can receive.

In February 2014, ATW Editors presented the 40th Annual Airline Industry Achievement Awards.
