Iceland-based low-cost carrier (LCC) WOW Air is finalizing its first transatlantic service on 6X-weekly Reykjavik Keflavik-Boston Logan service from March 28, 2015. The LCC was denied slots at Reykjavik-Keflavik Airport earlier this year, forcing it to try another approach to launch flights to the US in 2015, CCO Inga Birna Ragnarsdottir told ATW in March.
