Russia’s new Platov International Airport, which will serve Rostov-on-Don, will begin aircraft testing from Oct. 16-Nov. 20, as it prepares for a December 2017 opening. The new airport will test aircraft handling at the apron, passenger and luggage departure, arrival and transfer. The airport’s parking complex will also be tested during that time.
