Dubai-based low-cost-carrier (LCC) flydubai will transfer more flights to Al Maktoum International-Dubai World Central Airport (DWC) to create additional slots for Emirates Airline at the congested Dubai International Airport (DXB), Emirates president Tim Clark told ATW. “This [the transfer] will happen in the next year and will give us a bit of additional growth at DXB,” Clark said, adding that Flydubai could possibly switch its complete operation to DWC in 2016.
