Lufthansa Group subsidiary Austrian Airlines will fly 18X-weekly Vienna-Tel Aviv services from March 25, up four additional frequencies per week compared to the prior-year period.

In the winter 2018/19 flight schedule, the Star Alliance member will further increase capacity to 21X-weekly services to Tel Aviv, doubling the number of flights compared to the 2017/18 winter flight schedule.

CCO Andreas Otto said, “Tel Aviv is an important destination for us—not only as a direct flight connection, but also for transfer traffic. This additional capacity will also strengthen our long-haul flight connections, for example to the US,” he said.

Austrian operates Airbus A320 family aircraft on the Tel Aviv route.
