American Airlines is retooling its Latin America schedule this winter, ending a São Paolo-Charlotte, North Carolina service, to focus on Miami, Florida, as the carrier’s gateway to the continent. The carrier said it will end Charlotte-São Paolo service in October, but passengers will be able to connect via Miami to Brazil’s financial center.
