Hungarian-based Wizz Air (W6) has doubled its fleet at Budapest Ferihegy International (BUD) to six Airbus A320s in less than three months.

Hungarian-based Wizz Air (W6) has doubled its fleet at Budapest Ferihegy International (BUD) to six Airbus A320s in less than three months. The carrier, which announced it would invest HUF25 billion ($100 million) into expanding its Budapest operations after state-owned Malev Hungarian Airlines ceased operations in February (ATW Daily News, Feb. 7), will offer flights to 32 destinations from BUD during this summer.
