Southwest Airlines said it has been provisionally approved for 27 new slot pairs at Washington National Airport (DCA). The gains are part of the divestiture of DCA slot pairs agreed to by American Airlines and US Airways as part of settling the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) antitrust lawsuit against the carriers’ merger.
