Middle East Airlines resumed a four-times-weekly service to London Heathrow as it attempts to rebuild its network temporarily from Damascus. The Arab Air Carriers Organization reported that MEA also is operating charter services, some of which are being used to transport foreign nationals out of the Middle East.
