Warsaw-based EuroLOT will launch German domestic services this summer. The carrier will operate former Air Berlin routes, including one weekly Cologne-Usedom/Heringsdorf service and a weekly ATR 42 Dortmund-Usedom/Heringsdorf service.
Additionally, EuroLOT will take over all domestic flights within Poland from LOT Polish Airlines.
The European Regions Airline Association (ERA) told ATW recently that more airlines from Eastern Europe are expected to operate in Core Europe. ERA is looking to expand to new regions including Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
EuroLOT operates nine ATR 72s, four ATR 42s and eight Bombardier Dash 8 Q400s.
