Condor Airlines to reestablish Munich flights

Germany-based Condor Airlines plans to launch long-haul flights from Munich after six years of not operating from Germany's second largest airport. Condor will base two Boeing 767-300ERs in Munich.

Starting with the 2013/2014 winter season, Condor will operate once-weekly service from Munich to Santa Clara (Cuba), Varadero (Cuba), Cancun, Mauritius, Montego Bay and Mombasa. Also, Condor will operate 3X-weekly service from Munich to Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and its weekly Frankfurt-Goa (India) service will transfer to Munich.

Additionally next winter, the airline will launch once-weekly Frankfurt–Bangkok service and once-weekly Vienna–Mombasa service.

Condor, which is part of the Thomas Cook Group, operates twelve Airbus A320s, one A321, 13 757-300s and twelve 767-300ERs.
