Air Serbia, the former Yugoslav national carrier known as JAT, launched its first service as a rebranded entity Oct. 27, with a flight from Belgrade to Abu Dhabi. A delegation of Serbian government officials, businessmen and media, led by First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić, and Air Serbia CEO Dane Kondić, was onboard the Airbus A319 operating the flight.
