Rapidly expanding Turkish Airlines has converted options for five Boeing 777-300ERs to firm orders, the carrier said Monday. In a filing with the Istanbul Stock Exchange, Turkish said that the aircraft would be delivered in 2016-17.  The order was first announced in December 2012 as part of a previous firm order for 15 777-300ERs.
