A TransAsia Airways ATR 72 turboprop carrying 54 passengers and four crew has crashed while attempting to make a landing at Magong Airport in Taiwan, according to Taiwan’s Central News Agency. The Central News Agency and other news outlets are reporting that 51 of the 58 people onboard flight GE222 were killed, citing firefighters on the scene.
