Correction

CORRECTION: A March 14 ATW Daily News story, “China Airlines to launch LCC in Taiwan,” incorrectly stated that Taipei-based China Airlines plans to launch a low-cost carrier in Taiwan in conjunction with TransAsia Airways. However, a China Airlines spokesperson has told ATW, “While a team has indeed been formed to evaluate the feasibility of launching a LCC, the project is still under evaluation and no decision has been made. There is also no plan to cooperate with TransAsia.” ATW regrets the error and apologizes for any inconvenience this caused.
