German businessman Ralf Dieter Montag-Girmes has described his 20% investment in Latvian carrier airBaltic, as a “unique business opportunity.” On Nov. 3, Latvian Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma announced that Montag-Girmes’ bid for the carrier had been accepted following a four-year privatization process.
