Aeroflot Group’s international traffic increased 27.2% from January-July.

During the seven-month period, the group carried 28.3 million passengers, up 17.3% year-over-year (YOY). International traffic increased 27.2% to 12.7 million for the period, while domestic traffic grew 10.3% YOY to 15.6 million.

From January-July, load factor reached 82.3%, up 1.7 points YOY and capacity grew 24.2%.

For July, international traffic grew 29.8% to 2.4 million. Total group traffic reached 5.3 million, up 20.3% year-over-year (YOY). Group load factor grew 0.7 point YOY to 90.9% for the month.

Aeroflot Group includes Moscow Sheremetyevo-based Aeroflot Airlines, Rossiya Airlines, Aurora Airline and Moscow Vnukovo-based LCC Pobeda.

Since the beginning of the year, the group added eight aircraft and its fleet size reached 297. Aeroflot Airline, which operates 198 aircraft out of group’s total figure, operates Airbus A320s, A330s, Boeing 737s, 777s and Sukhoi Superjet 100s.

Saint Petersburg-based Rossiya has 747-400s, as well as A319s, A320s, 737s and 777s. Russia’s Far East-based Aurora operates A319s, Bombardier Q400s, DHC 8-300/200s and DHC 6-400 Twin Otters. Pobeda has 12 737-800s.
