Russia’s UTair Airline reported 1H 2016 net loss of RUB684.9 million ($10.7 million), narrowed from the carrier’s RUB1.77 billion loss in 1H 2015. Revenue rose 13.5% year-over-year (YOY) to RUB33.7 billion. Operational costs increased 20% YOY to RUB32 billion. The airline’s operational profit for the first half fell 43.8% YOY to RUB1.7 billion.
