Ethiopian Airlines and the US Export-Import Bank signed an agreement worth over $1.6 billion to support the financing of five 777-200LRs, 10 787-8s and GE spare engines.

Jazz Air Income Fund said that its August cash distribution of C$0.05 per unit covering the period from Aug. 1-Aug. 31 will be paid on September 15 to unit holders of record at the close of business on Aug. 31.

Air Berlin nominated Oasis Travels LLC as its passenger GSA for the UAE and Oman.

American Airlines said it will begin to offer an "Express Seats" option, allowing customers to purchase seats in the first few rows of economy and board as part of the first general boarding group. The seats can be purchased exclusively at airport self-service kiosks beginning 24 hr. before the flight and up to 50 min. prior to departure. Pricing begins at $19 per flight and heightens based on distance flown.
