Russia’s new regional carrier, Azimuth Airline, took delivery of its first SSJ100 aircraft July 7, the Rostov-on-Don government said in a statement. The aircraft is leased by State Transport Leasing Co. Azimuth announced its fleet will consist of 12 SSJ100s. Azimuth is based at the old Rostov-on-Don Airport; later it will move to the new Platov airport, which is scheduled to open in December.
