Korean Air has placed an order for five Boeing 777 freighters, valued at more than $1.5 billion at current list prices. Announcing the deal on Thursday, Boeing said the five 777Fs take Korean Air’s outstanding commitment to nearly 40 aircraft, including 12 777-300ERs, 10 747-8Is, 10 787-9, two 747-8Fs and six 777Fs.
