Embraer is negotiating with AeroSvit owners to deliver three out of five Embraer E-190 aircraft ordered by the carrier. In 2012, two aircraft painted in AeroSvit livery were delivered to the airline. They were operating for Dniproavia, a member of Ukrainian Aviation Group, created by AeroSvit owners.

At the end of December, AeroSvit filed for bankruptcy, but planned to continue operations. However, the carrier finally ceased short- and medium-haul destinations and then left the long-haul market shortly thereafter.

Part of the carrier’s fleet, including two E-190s, were transferred to Ukraine International Airlines (UIA). Three remaining E-190s could also be leased by UIA after delivery to AeroSvit owners.
