India’s Jet Airways has placed an order for 75 Boeing 737 MAX 8s. The order was previously booked by Boeing in the backlog as coming from an undisclosed customer, but was officially revealed at the Dubai Air Show Monday. The order was the first commercial aircraft purchase to be announced at the show. As part of the order, Jet Airways is converting a commitment for 25 737-800s to the MAX version and has placed options and purchase rights for an additional 50 aircraft, Boeing said. ...
