Kunming-based Ruili Airlines has finalized an order for six Boeing 787-9 aircraft, in a deal worth $1.54 billion at list prices. Deliveries are scheduled from 2021. The order paves the way for international expansion. Launched in May 2014, Ruili operates a fleet of nine aircraft on 16 domestic routes with 46 daily departures. The carrier plans to expand its fleet to 11 aircraft by the end of this year and to 80 aircraft by the end of 2025.
