Aviation Partners Boeing announced that Tokyo-based Japan Airlines has ordered six blended winglet systems (with options) for Boeing 767-300ER passenger aircraft.
Delta Air Lines is upgrading its Airbus A330 fleet to include full flat-bed seats in the BusinessElite cabin and new “slim line” seats, which offer more personal space throughout the economy cabin. There are 32 A330s in the Delta fleet.
KfW IPEX-Bank has closed financing on one new Airbus A320-200 aircraft for Air Arabia under an Export Credit Agency-supported facility fronted by Euler Hermes. Closing and delivery of the aircraft took place April 18. The bank is acting as agent and security trustee of the 12-year loan.
Air Lease Corp. announced a lease agreement with Ethiopian Airlinesfor two new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, both on lease for 12 years. The aircraft are scheduled for delivery in May and June 2015.
