GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) signed a contract with Beijing-based Okay Airways for the purchase-and-leaseback with pre-delivery payment financing of two Boeing 737 MAX 8s. The aircraft, fitted with CFM LEAP-1B engines, are scheduled for delivery in July and September 2019.

ATR delivered its 1,000th ATR 72 with a delivery to IndiGo.

Avolon delivered one Airbus A321neo to Hawaiian Airlines. This is the second Avolon aircraft on lease to Hawaiian. The Dublin-based lessor also delivered one A320neo to Air India, the 12th Avolon aircraft on lease to the Indian flag carrier.

US-based Air Lease Corp. took delivery of 14 new aircraft (nine Boeing/five Airbus) and purchased four other A321-200s in 2Q 2018, and now has owned/managed fleet of 320 aircraft.

CDB Aviation signed a lease agreement for one new Airbus A320neo with Air Seychelles; CDB Aviation also delivered the last of six Airbus A320-200neos to SAS Scandinavian Airlines, as part of a sale and leaseback transaction that began in March 2017.

Turkish Airlines took delivery of the first Airbus A321neo in Cabin Flex configuration, which can be designed for up to 240 passengers. Turkish will operate the aircraft in a configuration with 20 seats in business class and 162 in economy class.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) took delivery of its first Airbus A350 XWB. Altogether, PAL has ordered six A350-900s, which will be primarily operated on non-stop services to Europe and North America.
