VietJet Air has placed a firm order for 50 Airbus A321neos valued at $6.5 billion at list prices. VietJet president and CEO Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao and Airbus CCO Christian Scherer signed the deal in Hanoi Nov. 2, finalizing an MOU the companies agreed to at the Farnborough Air Show in July.
