British Airways 777-200ER sustained substantial damage to its right Trent 895 engine while en route from Singapore to London Heathrow on June 15 and diverted to Amsterdam Schiphol "reporting multiple technical problems and a low fuel state,"according to Ascend. The consultancy and data services provider said the damage to the engine turbine and outlet area occurred approximately 5 hr. prior to landing. The aircraft, MSN 30315 built in 2001, landed safely and there were no injuries to anyone onboard.

Universal Asset Management said it inducted an ex-Aerolineas Argentinas A310-300 (SN 640) for disassembly.

AWAS Aviation Capital Ltd. issued a $530 million Senior Secured Term Loan maturing in June 2016 and will use the proceeds to refinance two secured credit facilities. The loan is secured by 30 aircraft on lease to 18 lessees in 12 countries and comprises 51% Boeing aircraft and 49% Airbus aircraft. Goldman Sachs Credit Partners L.P. and Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank acted as joint lead arrangers for the facility.

CTT Systems said Jet2.com has ordered 13 Zonal Drying Systems for installation on its 737-300s. The aircraft condensation-eliminating systems are scheduled for installation during 2010-11.
