Synergy Aerospace has signed a firm order for nine Airbus A330s, including six A330-200 passenger and three A330-200 freighter aircraft. The order was announced Thursday at the Farnborough Airshow.  Engine choice will be announced at a later date, Airbus said. Synergy Aerospace is a sub-division of Brazilian conglomerate Synergy Group. Headquartered in Bogota, Colombia, the company has holdings in eight airlines, including Avianca and Tampa Cargo.
