SAS MD-80. By Rob Finlayson [UPDATED] Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) announced it has signed an agreement to sell four MD-82/87 aircraft, with options for 19 MD-82s and 10 spare engines. The purchaser also has an option on a further 19 MD-82s and 10 spare engines from SAS, according to a company statement. SAS declined to name the buyer.
