Russian lessor firms order for 35 Irkut MS-21s

Russian state corporation Rostechnology’s lessor, Aviacapital-Service, has firmed an order for 35 Irkut MS-21 aircraft.

Russian state corporation Rostechnology’s lessor, Aviacapital-Service, has firmed an order for 35 Irkut MS-21 aircraft. The deal, signed during the Engineering Technologies Forum in Moscow, is valued at $2.32 billion at list prices. Delivery is expected from 2022 to 2025. The aircraft will be equipped with Russian PD-14 engines, which could be certified in 2015. Irkut Corp. president Alexey Fedorov said the MS-21 will perform its first flight in 2015.
